Lisbon – Church of Our Lady of Loreto of the Italians

The State Conservatory of Music “Nicola Sala” of Benevento, in collaboration with the Conservatory of Music “Lorenzo Perosi” of Campobasso, as part of the internationalization initiatives envisaged by the Voices of Heritage project, promotes abroad an innovative artistic-musical initiative based on a contemporary reinterpretation of The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi.

The initiative is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that integrates musical performance with new technologies, thanks to the collaboration between the String Department and the New Technologies Department.

The project offers an immersive experience that combines music, images, and sound manipulation, enhancing the Baroque heritage through contemporary expressive languages. A distinctive element of the performance is the assignment of the solo role to the cello, within an original interpretative perspective, accompanied by the projection of audiovisual content inspired by Vivaldi’s Sonnets. This approach amplifies the narrative and descriptive dimension of the work, making it accessible to diverse international audiences.

The project fully aligns with the development strategies of the AFAM system, aimed at strengthening the international dimension of artistic and musical education, promoting mobility, cultural cooperation, and the dissemination of Italian artistic production within the European and global context, in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
