This lithograph offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the neume from the Beneventan chant \u2013 an early form of musical notation rooted in the medieval liturgical tradition of southern Italy. Far from being a mere musical sign, the neume embodies a visual representation of sound, breath, and vocal intonation within Christian sacred practice. The composition also features the Beneventan helmet, a reference to the distinctive helmets worn by the Samnites, an ancient Italic people originating from the historical region of Sannio.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
